In Brief
Jason started his racing in Autograss at the age of 13 and showed his winning potential by finishing 3rd in his very first race meeting.

At the age of 14 competed in the British Autograss Championship, after the opening round Jason was leading the series. A mixed year spoilt the initial glory, though he completed the series in a respectable 10th place and gained recognition as a key player among his fellow competitors and teams.

The following season Jason moved to the MSA Junior Rally Cross Championship piloting a self prepared Mini to 3rd overall. In 2005 Jason continued with Rally Cross competing aboard a Peugeot 106 Maxi. Victorious in many events throughout the season including the British Grand-Prix, Jason also competed in the modified class challenging the more powerful 2.4 litre vehicles in his small capacity Peugeot to reward him with 4th overall in the Two Wheel Drive Trophy.

2006 Jason moved to rallying with the Peugeot, contesting many events to gain valuable experience. The valuable experience secured 3rd in class of the BTRDA Championship, along with podium finishes during the year including second in class on his first rally and 6th in class at the Cork 20 International in Ireland. Jason's winning ways and driving ability was rewarded with his selection into the MSA Rally Academy.

2007 Jason contested the entire British Rally Championship plus selected rounds of the Irish Tarmac Championship in a Citroen C2 R2. Despite the year earmarked as a learning period a string of strong early season runs saw Jason lead the C2R2cup at the half way point, courtesy of 3 podiums from the opening three events. However a series of minor gremlins scuppered his hopes of taking the title in his first season.

2008 Jason was joined by up and coming co-driver George Gwynn. Initial plans to dovetail programmes in both the British and Irish C2R2cups were halted after a non rallying related accident sidelined Jason for 8 weeks. However the determined Jason returned to rallying with a new hunger, taking 5 wins from the next 6 events, and topping off the season by winning the C2R2cup, Class R2 of the British Rally Championship and receiving a Pirelli Star Driver Nomination. Jason also contested a string of non championship rallies at the wheel of a Subaru Impreza N11, with strong results each time out.

For 2009 Jason returns to defend his crown, but this year will upgrade to a Citroen C2R2 Max, his prize for winning the cup last year. He is also joined in the car by fellow Welshman Andrew Edwards this year. As well as the British Rally Championship the pair have aspirations to contest a selection of European events, but need to find the funding first.
